Welcome to the Unleashed Brands Foundation, where every action counts towards creating the ultimate comeback kid. We’re proud to introduce two of our flagship programs that support children and families facing adversity:
First up, our Teddy Bear Program invites supporters to build Foundation teddy bears. These bears bring comfort and joy to children battling illnesses or experiencing tough times.
Next, our “Sock it to Cancer” Program empowers supporters to raise awareness by wearing specially designed socks. Together, we’re stepping up in the fight against cancer and showing solidarity with those affected.

Sock it to Cancer
In our ongoing mission to support children battling adversity, the Unleashed Brands Foundation proudly presents our “Sock it to Cancer” Program. This initiative aims to raise awareness for childhood cancer—a cause close to our hearts—by encouraging supporters to wear specially designed socks.
Partnering with BDA, Inc., we’re thrilled to announce the launch of custom-designed “Sock it to Cancer” socks. These socks will be available to the public at participating Urban Air Adventure Parks this September. By wearing our socks and helping to raise awareness, you’re shining a light on this disease, providing hope, and contributing to childhood cancer research efforts.
In its first year of existence, the Unleashed Brands Foundation has committed to making a $20,000 donation to childhood cancer-related organizations. This contribution will support important initiatives that bring comfort and joy to kids and families battling cancer this year.
Childhood cancer remains a significant health challenge, with thousands of children diagnosed each year. Together, let’s make strides towards a brighter, cancer-free future for children everywhere.
Organizations and Programs Supported
The “Sock it to Cancer” program proudly supports a variety of organizations and initiatives dedicated to improving the lives of children battling cancer. Some of these include:
- The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Supporting their Dare to Dream Project and Light the Night Walks.
- Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals – Providing vital support to children’s hospitals across the nation.
These organizations and more work tirelessly to provide critical support, research, and care for children and families affected by cancer.
Ways to Get Involved
Beyond wearing your “Sock it to Cancer” socks, here are additional ways you can make a difference:

Donate Blood: During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, donating blood can directly impact pediatric cancer patients by ensuring they have access to essential blood products needed for treatment, including managing anemia, internal bleeding, and supporting healthy blood cell production.

Spread the Word: Share inspirational stories of families making a difference, follow organizations on social media, and educate others about cancer prevention, screening, and treatment through public speaking or informational events.

Support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society: Participate in their Dare to Dream Project and Light the Night Walks to show your support and raise awareness.

Donate Comfort Items: Consider donating board games, books, teddy bears, LEGO sets, and more to local hospitals like Cooks Children’s Hospital of DFW or connect with Children’s Miracle Network to find out how you can contribute to bringing joy to children facing medical challenges in your community.
- Build and Donate Teddy Bears: Owners and team members of Class 101, Premier Martial Arts, Snapology, Sylvan Learning, The Little Gym, Urban Air, and XPL League are encouraged to build bears through the Unleashed Brands Foundation bear program and donate completed bear kits to local children’s hospitals across the country. The community is encouraged to collect bears and stuffed animals to donate to local hospitals.

Teddy Bear Program
Unleashed Brands Teddy Bear Program
At Unleashed Brands, we believe in spreading joy and comfort to children facing life-threatening illnesses through our Teddy Bear Program. Franchisees within the Unleashed Brands system can participate by ordering bear kits at unleashedgear.com. Each bear kit contains 12 bears, encouraging teams to come together and involve their communities in the bear-building process.
Building Bears, Building Community
Teams are encouraged to host bear-building events where employees, guests, and community members can come together to assemble these special teddy bears. These events not only create meaningful connections within the community but also foster a spirit of giving and support.
Delivering Bear Hugs
Once the bears are lovingly assembled, our bear builders take them to deserving organizations. These include local chapters of organizations like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), HopeKids, and hospitals such as Cook’s Children’s Hospital’s Bear Den. Here, children battling life-threatening illnesses receive more than just a bear—they receive a bear hug filled with comfort and joy during challenging times.
